What We Do

— Emergence Shelter
Sheltering International helps in securing temporary emergence shelter to the vulnerable individuals experiencing homelessness. We assist service users find and access shelters with available space for temporary living, and housing and other homeless relief services.

— Food Bank
Sheltering International distributes food to the vulnerable individuals experiencing hunger. We also assist service users with locating and accessing other charities in our community that distributes food making sure that no one goes hungry when we run out of food.

— Youth Support
Sheltering International provides the youth with support. We assist the most vulnerable youth to make sure that they become responsible and law abiding citizens. We also support and help the youth going through abuse and exploitation through mentoring and skills training.

— Skills Training
Sheltering International provides skills training to the vulnerable individuals to enable them to quickly join the workforce. We provide sustainable skills training to service users to empower them to earn a living while having income to live a dignified life.
What We Care For!
Emergence Shelter
We care about vulnerable individuals experiencing homelessness. We are concerned with the challenges that the homeless individuals navigate. We assist in securing safer shelter for those experiencing abuse.
We care about making sure that the vulnerable homeless individuals are connected to relevant authorities such as social workers, health care workers and law enforcement agencies.
We care about the most vulnerable homeless individuals in our community especially the women, the children, the disabled, the Indigenous, and the LGBTQ2S+ at high risk.
Food Bank
We care about vulnerable individuals who are hungry and have nothing to eat. We reach out and invite them to have something to eat and live a dignified life. We assist them in locating and accessing other basic food necessities.
We value every community member that reaches out to us and contributes food to vulnerable individuals who have nothing to eat. We strive to make sure that no one goes hungry. We are constantly striving to optimize high standards of food resources.
Youth Support
We care about the wellbeing of the vulnerable youth members in our community. We are concerned about the youth experiencing abuse and exploitation. We help them through our mentoring programs and skills training.
We care about the youth who fall victims to crime and gang related activities in our community. We empower them with knowledge and skills to avoid crime and to be responsible law abiding citizens.
Skills Training
We care about the vulnerable individuals in our community with no skills to enter the workforce and financially struggling. We are concerned with challenges they experience. We provide them with skills training and financial literacy.
We care about quality of skills training we offer that is hands-on to help the vulnerable individuals to quickly enter the workforce. We develop skills trades to align industry needs.
